  1. The Con Job by Matt Forbeck (Berkley, 2012): Promising premise fails to fully deliver for Leverage fans. 3 stars.
  2. "All the Real Indians Died Off": And 20 Other Myths About Native Americans by Roxanne Dunbar-Ortiz and Dina Gilio-Whitaker (Beacon Press, 2016): Highly readable book packed with valuable information. 5 stars.
  3. Tempests and Slaughter (The Numair Chronicles, Book One) by Tamora Pierce (Random House Books for Young Readers, 2018): Immensely engaging. 4 stars.
  4. The Immortal Life of Henrietta Lacks by Rebecca Skloot (Crown, 2010): Vital reading that sheds light on important history and science. 5 stars.
