Holly Quick Backlist Reviews, Bookman!: Week 21

Just to get through some backlog of books I've read, I'll post 4 super short reviews of backlist titles every Wednesday.

  1. I'll Be Gone in the Dark: One Woman's Obsessive Search for the Golden State Killer by Michelle McNamara (Author), Gillian Flynn (Introduction), and Patton Oswalt (Afterword) (Harper, 2018): A twisted case masterfully interwoven with the author's fascination. 5 stars.
  2. Out of Thin Air: A True Story of Impossible Murder in Iceland by Anthony Adeane (Post Hill Press, 2018): A dark and mysterious case is presented well. 4 stars.
  3. March: Book One by John Lewis (Author), Andrew Aydin (Author), and Nate Powell (Illustrator) (Top Shelf Productions, 2013): Vital history presented in a very readable format. 5 stars.
  4. The Zoo Job (A Leverage Novel) by Keith R.A. DeCandido (Berkley, 2013): A fun romp for fans of the TV show. 4 stars.
