Holly Quick Backlist Reviews, Bookman!: Week 22

Just to get through some backlog of books I've read, I'll post 4 super short reviews of backlist titles every Wednesday.

  1. The Little Green Book of Blarney-The Importance of Being Irish by Ruth Cullen (Peter Pauper Press, Inc., 2008): Some fun facts and an adept summary of important political history. Some inaccuracies. 4 stars.
  2. War with No Name Series, Volumes 1, 1.5, and 2 by Robert Repino (Soho Press, 2015): A bizarre, poignant, thought-provoking trip through an animal-led revolution against humans. 5 stars.
  3. Cast No Shadow by Nick Tapalansky (Author) and Anissa Espinosa (Illustrator) (First Second, 2017): An enjoyable graphic novel with the message that change is necessary and that not everything you think is actually something you'd want. 4 stars.
  4. The Prince and the Dressmaker by Jen Wang (First Second, 2018): Lovely, precious, and heartwarming. 5 stars.
