Holly Quick Backlist Reviews, Bookman!: Week 66
Just to get through some backlog of books I've read, I'll post 4 super short reviews of backlist titles every Wednesday.
- The Infinities by John Banville (Knopf, 2010): I really enjoyed it. However, I would only recommend it if you like more cerebral reads. 4 stars.
- Last Chance to See by Douglas Adams and Mark Carwardine (Harmony, 1991): I highly recommend it to pretty much anyone. It's a fun read and you learn a lot of stuff (plus fun photos in the middle). 5 stars.
- Anne of Avonlea by Lucy Maud Montgomery (L. C. Page & Co., 1909): Overall I think I liked it better than Anne of Green Gables. I think this is partly because Anne is older but also because I love Echo Lodge. 5 stars.
- Registrars on Record: Essays on Museum Collections Management by Mary Case (American Association of Museums, 1999): I thought it was really interesting, but unless you're interested in what registrars do, I would not recommend it. 4 stars.
