Planchette and her friends are back in another delightful, heartfelt, and sweet volume. As Planchette tries to throw the perfect ghostly wedding, Sun and Babs explore their feelings about themselves and each other. All the while, the group tries to dodge an immature faerie king who has his sights set on Babs while trying to solve why so many ghosts have turned up at Planchette's home.
Throughout Unfamiliar 2, author and illustrator Haley Newsome paints a cast of charming witches and other supernatural beings. While all of them are fantastical, they deal with real problems that ground them a bit and allow readers to connect with them.
