Holly Quick Backlist Reviews, Bookman!: Week 63

Just to get through some backlog of books I've read, I'll post 4 super short reviews of backlist titles every Wednesday.

  1. The Night Circus by Erin Morgenstern (Doubleday, 2011): I would definitely recommend it if you're looking for a fun fantasy book. 4 stars.
  2. Six Women of Salem: The Untold Story of the Accused and Their Accusers in the Salem Witch Trials by Marilynne K. Roach (Da Capo Press, 2013): Meticulous, impressive, and poignant. 5 stars.
  3. How to Keep Your Language Alive: A Commonsense Approach to One-On-One Language Learning by Leanne Hinton (Heyday, 2002): It has a lot of great ideas for language activities and how to set up an immersive language environment. 5 stars.
  4. Totem Poles: An Illustrated Guide by Marjorie M. Halpin (University of British Columbia Press, 1983): Immensely helpful. 5 stars.
