The Roanokes have proven their bravery time and time again, but one of them, Mal, feels like she is just a scaredy cat. To get over this, she enlists the help of another Roanoke, Ripley. They hike into the forest to practice being brave when Mal falls through a portal. Ripley quickly rallies the other Roanokes to go in search of Mal and soon they all find themselves in the Land of Lost Things--which includes dinosaurs in danger. The Roanokes set out to help the dinosaurs and then themselves and have an adventure and serious talks along the way.
Packed with risky maneuvers, heart, and a little breaking and entering, Lumberjanes Vol. 16 is well worth a read.
