It's a rainy day at camp or, rather, it's a dangerously stormy day at camp and all of the campers, including the Roanokes promise to stay inside. While some play a convoluted board game devised by another camper, others go on a snack-finding mission and end up in caverns infested by large, potentially lethal bugs (but, hey, they didn't go outside, right?).
While this volume still has the signature charm, some of the stakes and depth of previous volumes are not as present in volume 13. That said, this series is still well worth a read.
