Holly Quick Backlist Reviews, Bookman!: Week 34
Just to get through some backlog of books I've read, I'll post 4 super short reviews of backlist titles every Wednesday.
- Little Women by Louisa May Alcott (Roberts Brothers, 1868): Pleasant beginning, but unsatisfying ending. 4 stars.
- The Black Prince of Florence: The Spectacular Life and Treacherous World of Alessandro de' Medici by Catherine Fletcher (Oxford University Press, 2016): Fascinating history. 5 stars.
- Murder on the Orient Express by Agatha Christie (Collins Crime Club, 1934): Best. Mystery. Ever. 5 stars.
- Modern Romance by Aziz Ansari and Eric Klinenberg (Penguin Press, 2015): Interesting, poignant, and funny. 5 stars.
