Switched (Ghosted Book 2) by Sarah Ready
After a fated and incredible one night together, Serena Otaki is convinced that she shouldn't be with Henry Joules. She's a sloppy free spirit, a Californian, and is not willing to sacrifice her career for anything and Henry is, well Henry, an uptight, neat-freak from England who almost has literal hearts in his eyes when he looks at her. And that just isn't going to work. Forget that it felt like love. Forget that he somehow smelled of starlight. And forget that he is now her boss?
After over a year of working together but avoiding each other at the same time, an electric storm causes an unexpected event at the particle collider they both work on: they switch bodies. As impossible as it seems, it did happen. Now Serena as Henry and Henry as Serena must navigate simple bodily differences, everyday life, and both joyous and tense family events.
While a little more nuance and exploration of gender during this body switch would've been welcome, Switched is an interesting romantic romp with some genre atypical notes.
