The Bestseller Job by Greg Cox
Gavin Lee is finishing up a reading of his new book Assassins Never Forget when he is struck and killed by a mysterious limousine. What his killers weren't banking on was that Gavin was old friends with the hitter of the Leverage crew: Eliot Spencer.
Gavin's girlfriend, Denise, gets in touch with Eliot and the job is off from there. The rest of Leverage's crew, Hardison, Sophie, Nate, and Parker are on the case. Initially, the goal is to get Gavin's literary rights back from Gavin's greedy and sketchy brother, Brad, and into the rightful hands of Denise. But after Brad is kidnapped, it becomes clear that there are far darker forces at work. The Leverage crew has to work quickly to untangle the web left by Assassins Never Forget and its true origins.
Fan service, globetrotting, costumes, a horde of zombies, and even Sophie's biggest fan all make their appearances turning The Bestseller Job into as enjoyable of a Leverage con as ever there was.
