The Christmas Witch by Steven Kellogg
Despite being in my 30s, I still fondly remember the wonderful picture book The Christmas Witch by Steven Kellogg.
While details of the plot escape me, I do remember little Gloria as a student at the Academy for Young Goblins and Witches. Gloria felt a bit out of place as she was not excelling. But then, she hears the story of Christmas. While being a Christmas witch does not prove easy, it does prove to be Gloria's destiny.
More than the plot, I remember the warm feelings The Christmas Witch instilled in me, which were enhanced by the heartfelt illustrations.
If you're looking for a Christmas story with some magic, I recommend Kellogg's The Christmas Witch.
