Holly Quick Backlist Reviews, Bookman!: Week 39

Just to get through some backlog of books I've read, I'll post 4 super short reviews of backlist titles every Wednesday.

  1. A Share in Death by Deborah Crombie (Scribner , 1993): Pretty good closed door mystery. 4 stars.
  2. The Witches: Salem, 1692 by Stacy Schiff (Little, Brown and Company, 2015): Very interesting. Will make readers consider a lot of aspects of the trials (primarily gender, sexual, and deeply rooted ones) that they hadn't before. 5 stars.
  3. The History Major by Michael Phillip Cash (Chelshire, Inc., 2017): A good idea, going into how history can relate to our own lives and be reflected in them, but it should've been fleshed out a bit more. 3 stars.
  4. What Would Captain Kirk Do? by Brandon T. Snider (Price Stern Sloan, 2016): Hilarious. 5 stars.
