Holly Quick Backlist Reviews, Bookman!: Week 26

Just to get through some backlog of books I've read, I'll post 4 super short reviews of backlist titles every Wednesday.

  1. Carrying Albert Home: The Somewhat True Story of a Man, His Wife, and Her Alligator by Homer Hickam (William Morrow Paperbacks, 2015): A bizarre and wonderful tale that will surely spark discussion. 5 stars.
  2. We Put the Spring in Springfield: Chronicling the Golden Era of 'The Simpsons' by Justin Sedgwick (Thought Catalog, 2014): A decent book about a fascinating Simpsons subject. 3 stars.
  3. The Clothing of Books by Jhumpa Lahiri (Vintage, 2016): An interesting take on the meaning of book covers. 4 stars.
  4. Welcome to Night Vale: A Novel by Joseph Fink and Jeffrey Cranor (Harper Perennial, 2015): Bizarre yet poignant. 5 stars.
