Holly Quick Backlist Reviews, Bookman!: Week 15

Just to get through some backlog of books I've read, I'll post 4 super short reviews of backlist titles every Wednesday.

  1. Once Upon a Con Series, Volumes 1-3 by Ashley Poston (Quirk Books, 2017): A charming, lovely yet critical, and nerdy romance series based around fan culture. 5 stars.
  2. The Murder on the Links by Agatha Christie (The Bodley Head, 1923): The mysterious second story featuring "Papa Poirot" by the genius Agatha Christie. 4 stars.
  3. Stay Sexy & Don't Get Murdered: The Definitive How-To Guide by Karen Kilgariff and Georgia Hardstark (Forge Books, 2019): A validating, comforting, and perceptive way to get closer to the voices behind My Favorite Murder. 5 stars.
  4. The Real Lolita: The Kidnapping of Sally Horner and the Novel That Scandalized the World by Sarah Weinman (Ecco, 2018): Well-researched and argued, horrifying, and masterfully executed. 5 stars.
