Just want to share some books I'm looking forward to! Once every 4 weeks, I'll post 4 super short previews of books I'm excited to read.

1. The Whistler by Nick Medina (Berkley, 2025): A young man is haunted by a mythological specter bent on stealing everything he loves in this unsettling horror.
2. Dear Mothman: A Novel in Verse by Robin Gow (Harry N. Abrams, 2023): An acclaimed middle grade novel in verse about a young trans boy dealing with the loss of his friend by writing to his favorite cryptid, Mothman.
3. The Most Wonderful Crime of the Year: A Novel by Ally Carter (Avon, 2024): Knives Out gets a holiday rom-com twist in this rivals-to-lovers romance-mystery.
4. Killing Time with John Wayne Gacy: Defending America's Most Evil Serial Killer on Death Row by Karen Conti (Black Lyon Publishing, 2024): Thirty years after Gacy's execution, Conti looks back through the eyes of a seasoned professional on the legal and media circus that ensued-and her countless hours of detailed conversation with the killer clown.
