Book series to TV show, 8: War with No Name
Every four weeks, I will be writing about a book series that I think could make a great TV show.
The War with No Name series takes the classic Animal Farm and makes it weirder in the best way. It also adds in a dash of Homeward Bound and A Canticle for Leibowitz. I believe the series was popular enough that it would have a built-in audience. Besides that, I think the series can stand on its own. It has strong characters, impressive and grounded world-building, and poignant and thought-provoking themes especially in this political climate.
Although the series would require impressive CGI and/or moving animation, I think with the right style and (voice) actors, it could be brought to life.
