Judging books by their covers, 16
Just want to share some books whose covers I love! Once every 4 weeks, I'll post 4 books and super short synopses of books whose covers catch my eye.
- Immortal by Sue Lynn Tan (Harper Voyager, 2025): One mortal queen. One immortal God of War. A dangerous alliance that could save her kingdom - or cost her everything.
- Cursebound: A Novel by Saara El-Arifi (Del Rey, 2025): They’re no longer prisoners to the fae court, but now two elven sisters are each bound by shackles of the heart - the sequel to the national bestseller Faebound.
- Junie: A Novel by Erin Crosby Eckstine (Ballantine Books, 2025): With time ticking down, Junie begins to push against the harsh current that has controlled her entire life. As she grapples with an increasingly unfamiliar world in which she has little control, she is forced to ask herself: When we choose love and liberation, what must we leave behind?
- Matriarch by Tina Knowles (One World, 2025): Matriarch is one brilliant woman’s intimate and revealing story, and a multigenerational family saga that carries within it the story of America - and the wisdom that women pass on to each other, mothers to daughters, across generations.
